Open Garden Highdown Gardens Goring

Curated by Sir Frederick Stern, these unique chalk gardens are home to rare plants and trees, many from seed collected by Wilson, Farrer and Kingdon-Ward. The new visitor centre, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, shares stories of the plants and people behind the gardens. Also new accessible paths, a project to propagate and protect rare plants and a sensory garden with a secret sea view.
