Littlehampton Town Mayor

Cllr Michelle Molloy was first elected as a councillor for River Ward in 2019. Michelle was born in Littlehampton and has lived here for her whole 35 years. Whilst she enjoys visiting other towns and countries she feels that the beautiful beach, the backdrop of the South Downs mixed with the joyful community characters, nowhere else has the unique spark that Littlehampton has.

Michelle has managed businesses within the town throughout her career and has recently started a new family-run home help company, caring for those who need a little extra help. When she is not working Michelle enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family and they can often be found on the beach.

Whilst Michelle recognises that every town including Littlehampton has its issues she would really like to encourage people to speak of the positives that we have as well as any problems, she believes that with more accurate and consistent reporting and open communication we will begin to see improvements within the town, and she encourages people to communicate with their councillors.

During her term as Mayor Michelle will be reaching out to the younger generations within Littlehampton using her “ Future Visions” project, in the hope to improve the council’s communication with them and let them know that their ideas and opinions will be heard. After all, they are the ideas of our future.

After a very tough and isolating time for everyone, Michelle is looking forward to seeing many of you throughout the year.
