Tucked in a charming ancient courtyard in Littlehampton town centre you will find one of the South Coast’s most unique independent retailers Way Out There and Back, who has been trading from this location for over 27 years. This is also the headquarters for LOCA, Littlehampton’s Organisation of Community Arts.
Littlehampton Town Mayor Visits Way Out There and Back (Video)
What delights will I find at Way Out There & Back?I had the pleasure of visiting some of Littlehampton’s unique independent businesses a few weeks ago. Please note that this vlog was filmed ahead of face coverings being mandatory in shops. My next stop was Way Out There & Back, tucked off the high street in Evans Courtyard, who specialise in unique products from local talented artisans. Owner Staci is a familiar face around Littlehampton as she also is a key member of LOCA, bringing art and music events such as the ‘LOCA Love Festival’ to town. I was also told about dowsing crystals and how they can divine yes or no questions about someone. Way Out There and Back are one of the only locations to house a UV reactive gallery along with their other gallery walls. Underneath the respective gallery walls are the most unique locally sourced and created artisan gifts. The gift selection ranges from bespoke jewellery, world & festival music, essential oils, crystals, gift cards, divination tools, clothing, ceramics, decorative skulls and dragons, fairies plus angels, authentic Native American artefacts as well as Posca paint pens and Kobra Spray paint.
We would like to introduce our new House and Garden Plant Section to you. Grown with love by ourselves and local growers and members of our cooperative Norway Farm. This wonderful selection of plants is now available to purchase from us and will be added to regularly, so please do keep an eye out on our Facebook Page. Each purchase will be accompanied by a care and maintenance leaflet telling you how to look after your new house plant friend.
Way Out There & Back also offers divination courses and readings by Staci Mendoza a well-respected and published author with over 28 books on the subjects of Tarot, Scrying and Palmistry.
Did you know that Stacey is also the driving force behind the Littlehampton Artisan Markets, The Love Festival on Caffyn’s Field, The Littlehampton Art Trail and Arts Festival, and more. Way Out There and Back is the HQ for Littlehampton’s Organisation of Community Arts LOCA who host these events. Do drop by and have a chat with Stacey and her team.
